The main cause of back pain is bad posture, and seeing that yoga promotes better posture and flexibility, we can confidently say that Yoga does indeed; help in preventing back pain and promoting general well-being in the long run.
Practicing Yoga has also been linked to safe and effective weight loss for various reasons, with the most obvious one, being the strenuous and demanding postures and poses required in Yoga practice.
