Starting a Fitness Program - A Few Questions to Ask Yourself

So you've decided to start a fitness program now. Maybe you've been totally inactive, only moderately inactive, or perhaps fell off the fitness horse and want to get back on now. In any case, congratulations. Here are a few questions to ask yourself before you start so you can pick a great fitness program that will be easy to stick too.
First of all, what kind of activities do you enjoy? Or perhaps there is something you once enjoyed but have stopped doing, perhaps long ago? For example, maybe you played tennis in College and loved it, but haven't played in 20 years. You might consider restarting!
What kind of time constraints do you have? If you are working two jobs and raising three kids, you are not going to start training for a marathon most likely!
Do you like to work out alone or with others around? I don't care myself, but I know my sister simply won't work out alone, and conversely, my father insists on privacy when he exercises.
Indoors or outdoors, which do you prefer? I'd much rather be outside myself and rarely step into the gym during the warm months, but in the winter I'm nearly a gym rat.
Budget also matters. You can spend a lot on exclusive health club memberships and personal trainers. For some people this may be a great option, but it's not necessary.
Giving honest answers will help you pick a fitness program that hopefully will be easy to stick too!
